Camp Rules

"Just don't be a dick"

This is a collection of simple rules for our participants to follow and ensure a great experience for everyone.

Photography and Videography

  • Respect individuals’ privacy; not everyone wants their photos taken.
  • No photography or videography after sunset to maintain privacy.
  • Do not capture or share images of injuries.
  • Photographs and videos should be used to commemorate the event, not for commercial interests.
  • Always seek parental consent before photographing children.

Fire Safety and Guidelines

  • The organizational core team oversees fire safety.
  • All fires must be in designated areas, close to fire extinguishing equipment.
  • Open flames, including candles and oil lamps, must be supervised and fully extinguished when left unattended.
  • Fire safety rules may change on the spot, during severe weather or drought according to local authorities.

Illegal Substances

  • Use and possession of hard drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • Violation will result in immediate reporting to law enforcement and potential prosecution as per Danish law.

Noise Guidelines

  • No electronically amplified music is allowed at any time.
  • This means no speakers, or phones on speaker, at anytime.
  • Please respect if people ask you to quiet down outside the main party awnings. Keep the camps quiet at night.

Waste Management

  • Keep your camps clean and sanitary
  • Dispose of your waste in the designated containers at the “Little House”.
  • Respect the toilets!

Pets

  • Pets must be kept on a leash or within a tent or private camp at all times.
  • Respect if other people have discomforts with pets in general or your pet in specific.

Environment Respect

  • Respect local flora and fauna. Keep Sletten glorious.
  • You can gather any loose or dead wood in the forrest, as well as berries and mushrooms. Be aware of food safety.
  • We want to “Leave no trace”, when Sletten is over.
