Signing up

Sletten is a closed, private event for Viking reenactors. The event has no affiliation to any museum or organization, and it is not open to the public. Thus, we have no ticket sales, and we have no sponsors with modern banners in the camp. In order to make Sletten happen, we have to pay ourselves.

The cost for each reenactor covers the rent to the scouts, firewood, toilets, and the million small things it takes to create an event of this size. Every year we do our utmost to negotiate and keep the prices down. And rest assured, no one is making money from Sletten. It is a non-profit event, and all surplus from attendance fees will be reinvested back into the event.

Signing up

Every year we try to make the process easier and more manageable for everyone, both participants and organisers. Its always a good idea to check this page, so you are updated on this years process. If you have any questions, write to us on Facebook or by email at sign-up@slettenvikings.dk.

Signing up for Sletten can only happen as a group (families and single people are just small groups). A group has two roles, Group Representative and Participant. Every group has to have one Group Representative. This is to facilitate communication between Sletten and the groups. Its also important because each role signs up in a different way.

Pre-register your group

Use this link to pre-register yourself and your group.

Link to pre-registration is now closed. 

If we have questions regarding your participation, we will contact you. If you are not the Group Representative/contact-person, you don´t need to fill out this form.
Deadline for group registrations is 1st of April.

Get your link and send to participants

After Pre-registering, you will recieve a mail with two links:

1. A link for giving us your precise camp measurements. You will need to collect the measurements from your participants.
Deadline for sending us measurements is 1st of April.

2. A unique link for signing up. All Participants of your group will need to use this link to sign up, so send it to them.
Deadline for participants to register is 1st of May.

Send tent and space info to confirm

When you have sent us your numbers, you will receive a second email as confirmation. That means you are done.

Get link from Group Representative

To sign up, you need to get a unique link from your Group Representative.

Sign up & Pay

Use your unique group link to sign up and pay.

Deadline is 1st of May.

You will not be asked to tell us about tents and space, but your Group Representative will, so let them know.

Confirmation

Once you have your receipt, you are done.

Ticket Prices

We have tried to keep the tickets simple. Remember that everyone in your group needs to purchase a ticket after signing up.
The payments will be locked, and there will be no refunds after June 1st 2026
