Here is a message to all the good boys and girls out there (well, mostly their owners).
Dogs are allowed at Sletten, but they need to be on a leash at all times. Yes, even if they are well trained and have good recall. There are a lot of kids at our event, as well as horses, potential wildlife and perhaps people who are not comfortable around dogs. It is important we all take care of each other.
We encourage you to find collars/harnesses and leashes that don’t stick out too much in the historical scene, and make sure the dogs are safe in the tent while you are asleep. Although it shouldn’t be necessary to remind you – please bring enough poop bags for the week
Sletten is a very large market, and there’s a lot happening at all times. If you have a very reactive dog, Sletten is not the best place for your four-legged friend.
