Hello Vikings!
Once again we are looking for participants who can volunteer their time and skills in case of “bad whoops”. Ellen will be leading the team for 2026, as she has skillfully done for several years now.
We are primarily looking for nurses and doctors who works in emergency rooms, as smaller and less acute injuries are handled by the groups themselves. Please reach out to info@slettenvikings.dk if you would be willing to be part of the team, and let us know a little bit about your experience.
The medic team is a valued addition to Sletten, and our hope is that they don’t have to lift a single finger throughout the week. It is not our intention that volunteer medics are “at work” at all times, but if something larger were to happen, it is good to know where we can find the right skills.
We urge all figher groups (and others who dabble in more injury prone activities, such as smithing, horse riding etc) to bring their own first aid kits, so you can fix any small booboos yourself.
